Houston Audubon and High Island is kicking off a month of classes and guided hikes with a free admission day on April 6th to all of the High Island sanctuaries. Enjoy birding with instruction stations in Boy Scout Woods, Smith Oaks, Eubanks Woods, and Gast Woods – in addition to TOS Hooks Woods. These sanctuaries are a haven for birds and visitors with almost 400 species of birds and thousands of visitors from all 50 states and 20+ different countries. On free admission day April 6th, staff and volunteers are available to answer all your birdy questions. Following that each weekend features a series of birding topics below. The remaining dates shown are for birding classes at the Morse Field Station. Admission pricing may apply, see website for details.

High Island Birding Classes: All classes are held at the Morse Field Station across the entrance to Boy Scout Woods Bird Sanctuary and start at 11am.
