Houston Audubon and High Island is kicking off a month of classes and guided hikes to all of the High Island sanctuaries.  Enjoy birding in Boy Scout Woods, Smith Oaks, Eubanks Woods, and Gast Woods – in addition to TOS Hooks Woods. These sanctuaries are a haven for birds and visitors with almost 400 species of birds and thousands of visitors from all 50 states and 20+ different countries.   The dates shown are for birding classes at the Morse Field Station. High Island Birding Classes: All classes are held at the Morse Field Station across the entrance to Boy Scout Woods Bird Sanctuary and start at 11am.

The four sanctuaries at High Island–Boy Scout Woods, Smith Oaks, Eubanks Woods, and Gast Red Bay–are open 365 days a year, dawn to dusk.
