Spring migration is peaking right now across much of North America, meaning each morning is a fresh chance to see new birds. On a typical night, hundreds of millions of birds will be in the air, and the BirdCast project has tools that help you know in advance when waves of birds are on their way. Join us as we sit down with the BirdCast team for a discussion about the 2023 spring migration so far, and how you can protect migrating birds through programs such as Lights Out. The BirdCast team and their partners will also discuss new research to forecast movements of specific species and to monitor movements by sound. Closed captioning is provided.
