AT: Lecture – Texas Coast Update, Post Harvey with a Multi Expert Panel

From waters of the Gulf of Mexico to backyards in our area, the long-term effects by Harvey on the Texas Coast is now being revealed to scientists. Surprisingly, some effects are not what you anticipate. This evening at HMNS, a collection of researchers from diverse fields will present flash talks to give you a broad post-Harvey update. Topics will include viruses, microbes, coral reefs, spread of invasive ants, rapid evolution of insects and proposed storm surge barriers.
