AT: Managing Vultures on the Texas Landscape

During this presentation, we will discuss the two vulture species found in Texas, their basic biology, the ecosystem services they provide, and the damage they can cause in both rural and urban environments. We will also cover the laws and regulations surrounding migratory birds so that attendees can ensure their management efforts do not violate any laws. Finally, we will outline available management tools and how they can be safely and correctly implemented as part of an Integrated Wildlife Damage Management plan to produce the best results.
