Shannon Westveer is a certified Texas Master Naturalist™ and member of the Coastal Prairie Chapter, Texas Master Naturalists.  Her mission is to restore human-dominated landscapes back into ones that can support an abundance of local wildlife — especially bees, birds, and butterflies. She is known for her work in schools and with scouts, helping install pocket prairies  around Fort Bend County, and teaching land stewardship at home and beyond.

This free event is a partnership of Missouri City Green, the City of Missouri City and Texas Master Naturalist Coastal Prairie Chapter.
