AT: Native Plant Propagation – Hands On Workshop

April 13 @ 10:30 am - 12:30 pm

$55 – $65

In person at the Houston Arboretum & Nature Center.  Pre-registration required.  Fee for class includes take-home plants and seeds.   Register here.

Speaker Nova Morales is a native landscaper on the Arboretum conservation team. She is passionate about ecological gardening and teaching others about the importance of native ecosystems and conservation.

Many native plants aren’t available at nurseries – so grow them yourself!  In this hands-on class you’ll learn about different methods of plant propagation. You’ll get the rare opportunity to collect seeds and cuttings to get your own plants started. Each participant will leave with native plant seeds, seedlings, and cuttings, as well as supplies to propagate more plants on your own.

Class will be held rain or shine. Please dress for the weather.
