Native Seed Propogation Workshop with speaker Matthew Gaston, to be held at the Lee County Extension office in Giddings, Tx. Deepen your knowledge of plant propagation, whether cultivating a pollinator garden, creating a pocket prairie or restoring a native prairie.
Workshop Highlights: We will be discussing native wildflowers, grasses, and woody plants, including: Maximillian Sunflower, Bluebonnets, Indiangrass, Little Bluestem, Mexican Plum. There will be hands-on demonstrations with seeds, grasses and forbs.
Topics include: Breaking seed dormancy, Seed processing, practicing techniques for vegetative propagation
