This biannual conference, themed ‘Bridging Nature and City,’ is co-hosted by the Texas Riparian Association and the Texas Water Resources Institute.
Registration fees are for the 3-day conference, Wednesday through Friday at the Waco Convention Center, including field trip options on Wednesday, 1 lunch Thursday afternoon, 1 reception Thursday evening, and refreshments during multiple breaks.
URS is the biannual conference in Texas for all things riparian and has included hundreds of presentations ranging from stream restoration stories and methods, green stormwater infrastructure and in-stream habitat studies, to mitigation efforts, nutrient enrichment, community science, and floodplain planning.
This year we are hoping to hear about your projects, how you physically go about accomplishing your work, and how riparian systems are being sustained in your area. Urban, rural, and agricultural projects are all encouraged equally.
