Texas Science Festival 2023 – Virtual Deep Dive
The fascinating and sometimes skittish plover is enjoyed by birders, and eight plover species depend on the wide range of diverse habitats in South Texas for part of their annual migration. Hear about what coastal bird experts are learning about iconic coastal species, including Piping, Snowy and Wilson’s Plovers. Find out the ways that, beyond the beachlines, plovers interact with many of the spaces we think about as uniquely human.
On the Texas coast? Attend this event in person on the campus of the Marine Science Institute in Port Aransas.
