Morning Session: 7:30 am – 11:30 am
Evening Session: 6:00 am – 9:00 pm.
This first-of-a-kind workshop designed for novice to intermediate naturalists will provide identification tips for a variety of prairie wildlife and will also give keen insight into wildlife behavior, migration, and more!
Workshop Instructors:
- Bob Honig – Expert birder and KPC Board Member
- Dr. Amy Bickham Baird – Mammalogist and Professor at University of Houston-Downtown
- Dr. Cassidy Johnson – Herpetologist, Professor (Houston Community College/Rice University), and President of Coastal Prairie Partnership
- Wally Ward – Local authority on butterflies and native bees and KPC Board Member.
- Michael Eckenfels – Local authority on local native bees
