9:30 – 10:00 –  Writing a burn plan and preparing the burn site.  The Nature Conservancy. John DeLeon.

10:15 – 11:00  – Laws and Regs of Fire in Texas. Private consultant. Dr. Lynn Drawe.

11:00 – 12:00  – Fire Weather.  NOAA.  Lara Keys.

12:00 – 1:00 –  Lunch Provided.

1:00 – 1:45 – Personnel and Public safety with fire and smoke.  Victoria County Fire Marshal. Ron Pray.

1:45 – 2:45 – Benefits of burning. Stephen Deiss. GLCI.

2:45 – 3:15 – Implementing prescribed fire. Go, No Go.  USFWS. Jeff Adams.

3:15 – 3:30 – Wrap Up.

2 CEU’s in IPM for Herbicide Applicator’s License.

7 CFT’s for CPBM License.
