AT: Rain Barrel Workshop

Galveston Bay Foundation’s Rain Barrel Program works in partnership with LyondellBasell and Coca-Cola Southwest Beverages to conserve water and reduce stormwater runoff, pollution, and bacteria entering Galveston Bay.
This workshop will consist of a supply pickup, hands-on presentation at 10:30 am, and Q&A session with Galveston Bay Foundation staff on site. The presentation at 10:30am will discuss water conservation tools like Water My Yard, the environmental benefits of reducing freshwater usage and collecting rainwater, as well as proper rain barrel preparation, installation instructions and tips.
Participants must pre-register to reserve a barrel. A virtual presentation option is available upon request.

Cost for the event is $40 which includes 1 barrel plus 1 connection kit and admission to the workshop for you and a guest.
