AT: TPWD Growing Up WILD Educator Workshop – Richmond

Free. In person, July 16th 8:30a – 11:30am at Long Acres Ranch, 2335 Richmond Pkwy, Richmond, Tx 77469.

Professional development for those who educate young children or the public about wildlife and nature.

Growing Up WILD invites you to explore and share the fascinating world of wildlife and ecosystems using fun, hands-on educational activities. You will experience engaging TEKS-aligned activities that are designed especially for young children while networking with other educators.

Workshop participants receive TEEAC Credit.

Anyone who works with young children, including teachers, homeschoolers, informal educators, and scout leaders, is welcome. This workshop will focus on homeschool educators.

Pre-registration is required.  Deadline July 2

The workshop fee has been sponsored by a generous donor.

Fee is for WILD training. WILD materials are distributed only with requisite hours of training. Attendance and participation in the entire experience are required to receive any of the materials, regardless of fee payment.
