AT: TWRI Workshop – Implementing Watershed-Based Plans Training

The course is designed for watershed coordinators and water and natural resource professionals. This training is the next step for those who have attended the Watershed Planning Short Course in the last several years.

This training course provides information and examples of how to move from planning to implementation, focusing on case studies on implementation strategies, sources of funding, keeping stakeholders engaged, outreach programs, tracking implementation, and evaluating progress. Topics covered in this course include maintaining watershed groups, tracking implementation, developing updates, and roles of the watershed coordinator. Examples of implementation successes and lessons learned from experienced watershed coordinators help attendees understand challenges faced when implementing WPPs.

This workshop qualifies for the Texas Waters Specialist training program advanced training.  Submit in VMS under AT: Texas Waters Specialist Certification Training.
