VSP: Brazos Bend State Park: Holiday in the Park – Saturday, 12/10/2022

“Join us for festive fun at the park and enjoy a full day of events!

Celebrate the holidays with Brazos Bend State Park at our annual Holiday in the Park. This is an all-day event starting with a birding hike at 8am and continuing through 6pm for a day full of fun activities. There will be wildlife, alligators, and snakes programs! Come make s’mores, do some crafts, and enjoy a trip on the hayrides. Bring your dog for the pup parade! This is event is for the whole family!  There will be music by the Brazos River Pickers, lights illuminating the trees around the Nature Center, and to add to the magic, Santa Claus and Mrs. Claus will be here too, so bring your cameras and your best smile!”

The Brazos Bend State Park’s Volunteer Committee has requested the TMNCPC to staff a table and share its Bat WOW with the attendees.

The TMNCPC will be on site sharing the Bat WOW from 10:00 AM – 5:00 PM. Watch for SignUp Genius to volunteer for this Holiday occasion.

Fort Bend County COVID-19 Green Advisement: “Resume normal contact with others unless sick. Resume attending public and private gatherings freely. Resume visiting vulnerable populations while practicing good hygiene and social distancing.” The Green risk description follows: “Minimum and controlled level of COVID-19 in Fort Bend County. New chains of transmission are rare.”
