Celebration of Life for Mac McDowell

A Celebration of Life for our chapter advisor Mac McDowell will be held this Saturday, Oct 30 from 2 to 6 pm at the Bud O’Shieles Community Center.  She had been with us since the beginning and had played an important role in the success of our chapter.  We are all invited to attend this memorial.  Light food and wine will be served.

There will also be flower vases on the wine table and food tables.  Mac didn’t much care for formal flower arrangements, so the master naturalists and gardeners are going to fill them full of flowers from our own gardens!  If you are planning on attending, kindly bring some flowers from your garden to add to the vase so we can make our vase as beautiful as possible.

Also, if you are interested in leaving a card or making an optional donation, there will be a basket where you can place cards or checks made payable to her husband James Cowan.
