Discovering the Wild Side of Houston: A Journey with Suzanne Simpson

Coastal Prairie Chapter programs are free and open to the public.  This program will be held in-person at the Rosenberg Civic Center, , 3825 TX-36, Rosenberg, TX 77471.

Please plan to arrive at 6:00 pm for refreshments and social time. The program starts at 7pm.

Join us on Thursday, April 4th at 7:00pm at the Rosenberg Civic Center as we delve into the hidden treasures of Houston’s wildlife with acclaimed author Suzanne Simpson. Houston, often celebrated for its energetic urban landscape, holds within its heart a rich tapestry of wildlife waiting to be explored. Suzanne Simpson, will unveil the lesser-known facets of this vibrant city, revealing a world teeming with biodiversity amidst its bustling metropolis.

About Our Presenter

The author of “Wild Houston” is a Houston-based ecologist working to protect the natural landscapes that define Texas. She maintains certification as a professional ecologist from the Ecological Society of America and is a trained Texas Master Naturalist. Her favorite moments outdoors include hiking with her hound and finding snakes, but not at the same time.
