Cin-Ty will discuss the biodiversity on Rice campus, touching on all the unusual birds and insects that have been seen in that urban environment. He will weave in conservation, ecology, migratory behavior (of bugs and birds). They have 227 species of birds recorded in the urban campus, along with 400 species of insects, arachnids, etc. and counting.
This talk will get everyone excited about looking at nature in their backyard and making new discoveries everyday.
