We have an exciting opportunity for outreach right in Sugar Land! Volunteers are needed to help at the Houston Museum of Natural Science at Sugar Land over Spring Break. The dates for Spring Break 2022 are March 13 – 19.
There will be two shifts each day with two volunteers per shift. Katie Sallean and Jamie Fairchild are the coordinators of this event and they will keep everyone informed about the details, trainings, and activities. One option for our station will be to show one of our WOWs, such as the Bat WOW or the ever-popular Skins and Skulls WOW. You don’t need to be an expert on nature or butterflies or flora or fauna because training on what we decide to present will be provided to you! So easy and fun!
IMPORTANT! Please be aware that the museum requires all volunteers to show proof of vaccination or a negative Covid test and to be masked while in the museum. The museum staff will be responsible for confirming compliance with this policy. TMNCPC members will not be responsible for checking into any part of this policy whatsoever.
