The 2025 Texas Water Resources Institute Riparian symposium will be held in Waco, Texas from February 19th – February 21st at the Waco Convention Center. This biannual conference, themed ‘Bridging Nature and City,’ is co-hosted by the Texas Riparian Association and the Texas Water Resources Institute.

Registration fees are for the 3-day conference Wednesday thru Friday at the Waco Convention Center in Waco, Texas, including field trip options on Wednesday, 1 lunch Thursday afternoon, 1 reception Thursday evening, and refreshments during multiple breaks.
Registration will be open through January 17 with fee information and session options available on website.
Late registration fees apply between January 18 – February 14.
Just what is the Urban Riparian Symposium?
URS is THE biannual conference in Texas for all things riparian, co-hosted by the Texas Riparian Association and the Texas Water Resources Institute. The Symposium has enjoyed hundreds of presentations ranging from stream restoration stories and methods, green stormwater infrastructure and in-stream habitat studies, to mitigation efforts, nutrient enrichment, community science, and floodplain planning.
Conference room blocks will be available at the hotel adjacent to the conference site.
