VSP: 2024 Saturday Outreach at the Houston Museum of Natural Science at Sugar Land

Join us in reaching out to the community every 2nd and 4th Saturday (with a special Spring Break addition this month)  at the Houston Museum of Natural Science at Sugar Land.  Share your knowledge of nature in a beautiful setting with families and kids at the museum.

Shrinking habitats of Texas shores and wetlands
Fresh water wildlife
Swamp waterbin (hands on)

We will have two shifts per Saturday-the morning shift from 10:30-1:00 and the afternoon shift from 1:00-3:30.  We are asking that 2 people sign up per shift to assist the lead with outreach.  Additionally, we have a new slot this year for a backup volunteer and/or members who would like to observe or be trained on the topic or the respective WOW presentation.
