Join us in reaching out to the community every 2nd and 4th Saturday at the Houston Museum of Natural Science at Sugar Land.  Share your knowledge of nature in a beautiful setting with families and kids at the museum.

April-What’s the Buzzzz about Native Bees? 4/13/24 AND 4/27/24

Learn the native bees in our area and why they are important
Learn how you can protect native bees
Make a beehouse out of straws to put in your garden.

We will have two shifts per Saturday-the morning shift from 10:30-1:00 and the afternoon shift from 1:00-3:30.  We are asking that 2 people sign up per shift to assist the lead with outreach.  Additionally, we have a new slot this year for a backup volunteer and/or members who would like to observe or be trained on the topic or the respective WOW presentation.
