Meet in front of the wetland at the front of the Houston Arboretum nature center at 8:45am. Feel free to arrive early, there are a lot of great wildflowers on the path at the front. Note parking is free on Thursdays (bonus!).Park in this lot, which is right off the 610 service Road:120 W Loop N Houston, TX 77024
We will move as a loose group from the nature center to the Woodway North and South Ponds. And work our way south to Meadow Pond. I may be hunting for a few hours, so feel free to come and go as you want. It is bound to be hot, be sure to bring some water and maybe a snack.
Please already have an iNaturalist account. If you need assistance with using iNaturalist, I can help you better now, before the event. Feel free to contact me and I will be happy to help you learn about this wonderful tool. Happy hunting wherever your feet are taking you!
