VSP Bioswale Planting Willow Waterhole Bayou

Planting event sponsored by Houston Wilderness.

The first of the six lots purchased by the City of Houston for flood control along the Willow Waterhole Bayou will be planted with over 800 plants. Be part of this special event.

Where: 5659 Cartagena, Houston, TX 77035 near Anderson Elementary School
What: Over 800 plants to plant!

Houston Wilderness is providing water, snacks, gloves, shovels, and planting materials. Volunteers are welcome to participate at any age though if kids are present, they usually enjoy it more being 4 and up! All are welcome to sign up online but we will have in-person waivers as well. www.houstonwilderness.org

Bring your own water bottle and comfortable clothes to work in.
