VSP Bird Survey at JB Harrison Burr in Wharton County

This count will be led by JBH Bird Leader Ron Weeks.

To take advantage of the early birds, they plan to start early. Gates will open at 6:30am. They plan to depart on the hikes at 7:00am. Out of courtesy to all our participants, we ask that you please arrive at least 10-minutes prior to hike depature. 

While birders of all levels are welcome, please be aware this activity covers moderate to difficult terrain seeking and counting birds in various habitats. Average duration of this count is 2.5 miles over the course of 3.5-4 hours, depending on the pace of the group.

There is no fee to attend, however sign-up and liability release waiver is required. E-Waiver can be found here.
