Missouri City Parks & Recreation Department officials will be dedicating Missouri City’s first pollinator pocket prairie located at Buffalo Run Park, 1122 Buffalo Run Blvd, Missouri City on Earth Day April 22, 2022 at 10:00-11:00 AM. We need all our prairie aficionados to be in attendance!
Texas Master Naturalists Coastal Prairie Chapter designed, planted and will maintain the prairie. The TMNCPC Blue Donut Award will be presented, seed balls passed out for planting. This project marks a turning point for parks management in Missouri City. They are now embracing native plants. More prairie pockets will follow!
