VSP: NEW Volunteer opportunity with Houston Audubon on the Second Thursday of each month from 9AM- Noon.
Join the Team at Houston Audubon’s Entergy Coastal Natives Nursery!
Are you passionate about native plants and their role in supporting wildlife? Houston Audubon’s Entergy Coastal Natives Nursery in High Island is looking for enthusiastic volunteers to help grow and care for the native plants that make a difference in our coastal ecosystems.
As a nursery volunteer, you’ll play a hands-on role in propagating and maintaining plants vital for birds, pollinators, and other wildlife. Tasks include seeding, potting and prepping native plants to go in the ground, or be sold at events like our Spring Plant Sale. Whether you’re a seasoned gardener or just learning about native plants, this is a fantastic way to grow your skills, connect with nature, and contribute to conservation.
Join a fun, friendly team and help us make an impact—one plant at a time! Volunteers meet for nursery workdays on the second Thursday of the month at 9 AM. Sign up today and be part of something truly special.
