Per the Coastal Prairie Conservancy (CPC), “COVID-19 UPDATE – Volunteer opportunities are back! Following the latest recommendation from the CDC, face coverings are now optional for volunteers and visitors indoors and outdoors. We ask that all volunteers and visitors continue to act with courtesy, kindness, and common sense, respecting the choice of the Coastal Prairie Conservancy staff and other visitors who continue to wear masks, or who may ask that you wear a mask while closely interacting with them.”

“Come get your hands dirty on the prairie. Every Tuesday and Friday on the Indiangrass Preserve, volunteers participate in activities critical to the success of our restoration program. Volunteers maintain the Ann Hamilton Trail, grow out native species in our Coastal Prairie Native Seed Nursery, plant native wildflowers and grasses, remove invasive species, build and repair preserve improvements, and ensure the safety of our preserve for visitors of all ages.”
