Volunteers meet at the Irene Stern Community Center, 6920 Katy-Fulshear Rd., at 9:00a.m. to pick up supplies, grab a snack, and listen to a quick safety talk from one of our Fulshear Police Officers and a Thank You from our mayor. Volunteers divide into groups and have the options of picking up roadside litter or helping replant the Community Vegetable Garden, and/or the Pollinator Garden. Volunteers meet back at the Stern Center for a catered hot lunch from a local restaurant, starting at 11:30, and fellowship with others in the community. The North Fort Bend Water Authority interactive unit will be there to educate visitors on our water system and TPWD will have something adorable for hands-on teaching about living with our indigenous wildlife.
Please wear comfortable, closed-toe shoes or boots. Disposable gloves will be available, but bring your own if you’d like something heavier. Grabbers, trash bags, trowels, and shovels are provided. Plus, you get a cute Keep Fulshear Beautiful tee-shirt!
