VSP Kleb Woods Hummingbird Festival 

It’s time to start organizing volunteers for our annual Hummingbird Festival! This year the event will be on Saturday, Sept. 14 from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. Activities include hummingbird banding, raptor shows, nature walks, kids activities, presentations in the auditorium, and farm house tours.

There will be two 4-hour volunteer shifts: morning (8 a.m. – noon, including setup) and afternoon (noon – 4 p.m., including cleanup). Volunteer assignments may include registration, information, crafts, games, and educational kids activities.

Please let us know if you are able to volunteer this year, and including the following information in an email to  [email protected] :

• shift preference: morning, afternoon, all day, or flexible
• activity preference: anything you do (or don’t) want to do
• special requirements (e.g. no standing for long periods, no kids activities)
