VSP: Katy Prairie Conservancy – Stewardship Saturdays

“Looking for a way to get your hands dirty on the prairie?” Look no further. Join the Katy Prairie Conservancy for its Stewardship Saturdays!
All are welcomed to participate – no experience necessary!
Who: Katy Prairie Conservancy (KPC)
What: Assist KPC in removing invasive species; clearing fences of vegetation; and planting Texas native plants.
Where: Indiangrass Preserve 31975 Hebert Road Waller TX 77484
When: Every 2nd Saturday of the month, 9:00 – 11:00 AM
Why: That’s what TMNCPC’s do!
Physical Requirements: Bending, kneeling, or sitting on the ground; some light lifting.
What to wear: Closed-toed shoes, tall socks, long pants, long-sleeved shirt, hat.
What to bring: Reusable water bottle, gardening gloves (or we have pairs to borrow). All other tools are provided.
