VSP Moth Night at Lawther Deer Park Prairie

September 21 @ 7:30 pm - 10:30 pm

Moth night at Deer Park Prairie this Saturday, September 21 from 7:30p to 10:30p to survey nocturnal insects.  Volunteers are asked to bring their camera/phone to document insects and log their observations into iNaturalist.  The observations will automatically be added to the prairie’s project.  Light stations will be set up on the side of the house and along the boardwalk so prairie attire is not needed.  Attendees will be asked to complete a waiver form if they haven’t already done so this year.
Come to this address:  1222 E. Purdue Lane, Deer Park 77536.  Please park on the school side of the street and not in front of neighbors’ homes.
RSVP is not needed, but please check Mary Spolyar’s iNat journal post before driving out in case there are any last minute changes:
[VSP hours to be recorded in VMS under: “iNaturalist, eBird and Other Citizen Science: TMN Report Hours”]
