As part of the Precinct 4 Grow Zone Pilot Project, they are conducting quarterly bird surveys at three parks. If you are interested in participating in the surveys, please click HERE and fill out the form. Space is limited, and filling out the form does not guarantee a space.

- Monday, Oct. 14 (7-11 a.m.) – Bear Creek Park OR George Bush Park
IMPORTANT DETAILS
- Gather at 7 a.m. at the designated meeting location and then take Precinct 4 vans to the survey sites. *Please be on time as we will depart shortly after 7 a.m., and you may not be able to access the sites in your own vehicle.
- They will have water igloos on site. Please bring your own water bottle and snacks.
- Access to restrooms is limited.
- You may be walking in open (sunny) areas with tall grass. It has not rained recently, but boots are always recommended.
MEETING LOCATIONS
- Bear Creek Park – Meet at the parking area near the War Memorial at the intersection of War Memorial and Zorn Dr. LINK
- George Bush Park – Meet at Delta Lake parking lot on Westheimer Rd. LINK
