Looking for 20 – 25 volunteers for a morning of digging and dividing!
“Join The Nature Conservancy in Texas and Buffalo Bayou Partnership to dig up and divide native grasses at the MD Anderson Prairie (located in the Texas Medical Center) in preparation for re-homing (aka transplantation) to beautiful Buffalo Bayou Park and the new Jefferson Early Learning Center in Alief. You can make Houston greener and wilder for kids and families, and we want you involved! Detailed parking, attire, and equipment information will be emailed to you upon registration. Registration is required and limited to volunteers 18 years old and up.”

Where: MD Anderson Prairie – 1220 Holcombe Blvd. Houston TX 77030 (the actual prairie is located at the Southeast corner of Holcombe Blvd. and Fannin – just behind the MD Anderson Mays Clinic). Volunteers will be given detailed parking instruction.
When: Monday, 9/19/2022, 9:00 AM – 12:00 PM
Why: To ultimately beautify Buffalo Bayou Park and the new Jefferson Early Learning Center in Alief
