VSP Seabourne Volunteer Day

Come join us out at Seabourne Creek Park. There are several areas in which chapter members can volunteer.

Now that the feral hog fence around the SCNP Prairie Demo Garden has been completed, thanks to our volunteers, we can work in the garden free from feral hog attacks.  Garden plots are still up for adoption and we work with new adopters.

The SCNP Butterfly Garden now has a fence and we can be repairing the damage there free of the feral hogs in the garden and begin planting new plants.

We will also be bumping up and propagating prairie plants at the prairie area, as well as supervising prairie plantings.  Volunteers can take some prairie plants for their home gardens.

There will be other fun volunteer opportunities available–keep an eye on the Chapter Bulletin.

We also have fun along the way!  Of course, there will be doughnuts and water available for volunteers.  So come join the Seabourne team!
