TMNCPC hosted Fisher-Scientific volunteers participating in a corporate volunteer service day on Friday, May 5, 2023. Chapter President Terri Hurley summarized the event:
“Our chapter really knocked it out of the park today at the Fisher work day at the Arboretum! We successfully hosted 15 Fisher employees who perfectly planted 18 large trees that have gotten off to a strong start… A fun part of the day was letting each team name the trees they planted. Some were named after their moms or dads or kids, some were just cute and clever such as Timberrrrrrr Ton (Tim Burton!) All the volunteers were credits to our chapter as they welcomed arrivals or led the planting teams or drove tractors or moved materials. Thank you all for your service. It wasn’t easy and it was hot and sweaty work but everyone persevered. Bravo!!“
