The prairie restoration at Seabourne Creek Nature Park began in 2009. It is a continuing work in progress. Today, we have a greenhouse to germinate and grow our prairie plants, a nursery for our bumped up prairie plants in gallon pots, and established volunteer days when the chapter members meet to work towards improving the 16-acre plot of land that used to be a cotton field.
