Request a Speaker

The Elm Fork Chapter Texas Master Naturalist coordinates requests for guest speakers to present to area groups on a variety of topics, dedicated to the beneficial management of natural resources. Our speakers are well-informed and passionate volunteers devoted to educating the community and preserving our great state.

Frequently requested topics include:

  • Backyard Wildlife Habitats
  • Bees, Butterflies
  • Birds/Birding
  • Ecology of North Central Texas
  • Entomology
  • Native Plants
  • Trees
  • Water Conservation
  • And many more…

Additional information:  Most presentations use a laptop, projector, and screen, some are demonstrations, and some use other formats. Our speakers can bring whatever they need or use your equipment. Most presentations are 45-60 minutes and are designed for adult audiences.  If you are seeking information about programs for children, please email sciencewithattitude@gmail.com. Please specify any additional requirements needed for your event.

Speaker fee:  Although there is no charge for speakers, donations are accepted in the form of honorariums and are used to support our chapter projects, activities and goals. See our Donate tab on the main website page.

To request a speaker:  Please fill out and submit the Request A Speaker form below.  EFCTMN asks that a two week prior notification be allowed to find an appropriate volunteer speaker to match your request.
