Adopt a Highway Workday

Our second Adopt A Highway cleanup in 2018 is this Wednesday, May 9. Please join in on cleaning up our two-mile stretch of Highway 159 from Reutersville towards La Grange. We will meet at 8:15 to get organized (and enjoy some sausage biscuits and coffee cake.) Meet at the parking lot at St. John’s Lutheran Church in Reutersville and be ready to start out at 8:30. Wear closed toe shoes and plenty of insect repellant. We provide vests and as many as you might need of Texas Trash Bags.
If you need a grabber/picker please call Mary Ann or David Butler to reserve one. Our group has three extra to loan.The more people to help, the sooner we can finish. Also, if you have a truck, you can help pick up filled bags to get them to the TXDOT pick up spot.
Be prepared to walk among many wild flowers along our route and have a couple of hours of enjoyment as well as accomplishments.
