Speakers: Jonathan Letz, Ben Masters, Ryan McGillicuddy, Christine Middleton, Sheryl Pender, Gaby Tamez, & Jeremy Walther
Date: Friday, October 23, 2026, at 7PM CT (NOTE: this will be broadcast live from the Annual Meeting. Due to dinner services at the meeting, the start time may be delayed as needed. The webinar will be open at 7pm, but the presentation may begin later).
Description: Join us for the Friday evening Keynote at the 2026 Annual Meeting! Rivers connect landscapes, wildlife, landowners, communities, and people—and stewardship works the same way. Join us for an evening sharing stories of resiliency, hope and recovery all centered around Texas’ rivers. From the nexus of landowners, agencies, nonprofits, local leadership involved in stewardship, and the personal journeys of various TMN volunteers participating in flood recovery efforts, to Ben Masters’ new documentary, “Deep in the Heart 2: Texas Rivers” and the protection of our waterways. It will be an evening full of all things Texas rivers and what community-based natural resource stewardship looks like— and how Texas Master Naturalists are part of that network.
NOTE: Even if you have registered for all other TMNTuesdays, you will need to register for the October event seperately as it has just been added to the series.
