Volunteer Opportunity: VMS category – Outreach Booth
On Saturday and Sunday, we will have a table set up with our Chapter Trifold display from 9:30 am to 12:30 pm. Volunteers are needed to work at the table to explain Texas Master Naturalists to the public.
AT opportunities may also be available in connection with the Festival. Additional information will be added once the Festival schedule is finalized.
Early morning van tours will take participants up to one of the booming grounds to watch the male prairie chicken’s famous courtship dance. Other events this weekend include wildflower and native plant guided tours, bird walks and birding van tours with experienced birders, refuge management tours, Native American Dance presentation, guest speaker, and children’s art display.
