Attwater Prairie Chicken National Wildlife Refuge Workday

Volunteer Opportunity: VMS Category: Attwater Prairie Chicken Refuge
The January workday at Attwater will be Wednesday January 24 meeting at the visitor center at 8:00 a.m. We will be done by noon at the latest. Not sure what we will be working on but it is sure to be a beautiful morning at the Refuge. Last month we cut back the native grass plot (gathering a few seed heads for home use) and cleaned trail benches that were hanging on to muck from the last flood.
Please RSVP only to Terry Rooney so we know how many to expect and who to notify in the event of bad weather. As always email or call with questions.
