Attwater’s Prairie Chicken Festival

The chapter will have a table at Attwater April 6-7 for the Festival there. This event is working to re-establish itself after COVID and recent staff changes at the refuge.  Hours will be from 7:00am to 2:00 pm both days.  A schedule of activities is attached.

Please plan on bringing a chair, a drink (we will provide water), and most likely a lunch if working a middle shift.  At this time, I do not know if food will be available on site.  We will be located inside the old Visitor Center.  The refuge is located outside of Sealy.

Folks willing to volunteer are asked to work a 2 hour shift starting at 6:30 am.  If you wish to work more than one shift, please let me know.
