B.I.S.D. Training

Volunteer Opportunity: VMS Category: BISD Outdoor Learning Projects
We will be offering a training class to prepare volunteers to participate in BISD programs. The training class will focus on the Activities and Learning Objectives for this Spring’s BISD Outdoor Classroom.
The dates being offered are:
Tuesday, Feb. 27 from 9-1 at Nail Creek Park (3rd & 5th grade curriculum)
Tuesday, Mar. 20 from 9-1 at Birch Creek Park (3rd & 6th grade curriculum)
The objectives this year are a bit different from last year, especially for the 5th and 6th grades. Emphasis on reading in all grades is being evaluated.
These Training Sessions are not mandatory in order to volunteer for Outdoor Classroom. We are trying to meet a need that has been expressed in the past. But Natalie and Carol would like to know how much interest is out there this year. We will be having a heavy schedule in March and April, which will be sent out next week.
