Giddings ISD 5th grade field day – SAVE THE DATE

VMS opportunity: Group Educational Presentations

TMN is partnering with the Lee County Wildlife Association, Lee County Extension, and TPWD for a day of wildlife education at the Parker ranch 9 miles NW of Giddings. (The Parkers were early members of this TMN chapter.) Approximately 120 students will rotate among six stations:

1)      Stream erosion/rainfall simulator

2)      Insect Life Cycles

3)      Bird Adaptations

4)      Ecosystems/Quail/Run for Your Life

5)      Nature Reflections

6)      Fishing

This is a full day event. Students will arrive about 9 a.m. and depart at 2:30. Lunch will be provided for volunteers (please include dietary restrictions or preferences in your response). We will need approximately 12 volunteers.
