Krause Elementary Outdoor Education

Working with Stephanie Damron (TPWD Wildlife Biologist), we have come up with an afternoon outdoor education program for Krause Elementary 2nd graders that we can manage with a team of TMN volunteers.
Thursday May 20, 12:15 – 2:45 pm outside at Krause Elementary in Brenham
So we would have 5 stations (25 minutes each with 5 minutes for rotation) and 22 kids group size.
So, we will have Mammals, Birds, Butterflies, Seed Balls, Animal Charades. Our chapter will provide the leaders and supplies for Birds, Butterflies, Animal Charades and volunteer helpers for all stations.
PLEASE contact Lori if you can volunteer with us on that date/time and let me know if you have a preference for which station you would like to help with. I will try to organize a planning meeting (maybe on Zoom or maybe at a park in Brenham) the first week in May so we can get our stations organized and supplied. Once I know that we have this team in place, I will send a note out to all the chapter to see if others would like to help. Thanks for your patience through all the changes.
