Our regular workdays to attend the landscape are the 3rd Tuesday of the month from approximately 8 am to 10 am..

The native plant landscape bed is at the Fayette County AgriLife Extension Office on Svoboda Lane in La Grange and has been developed over a number of years by our chapter. There is a wonderful guidebook for the plants in a binder available at the Extension agent’s office. The landscape includes trees, shrubs, forbs, and grasses. Some pruning and weeding are always needed.  Bring your favorite gardening tools and water.  Also bring large garbage sacks for disposal of debris. We welcome all helpers and this site is a great opportunity to learn more about native plantings.

The native plant landscape bed is at the Fayette County AgriLife Extension Office on Svoboda Lane in La Grange and has been developed over a number of years by our chapter. There is a wonderful guidebook for the plants in a binder available at the Extension agent’s office. The landscape includes trees, shrubs, forbs, and grasses. Some pruning and weeding are always needed.  Bring your favorite gardening tools and water.  Also bring large garbage sacks for disposal of debris. We welcome all helpers and this site is a great opportunity to learn more about native plantings.
