Monument Hill/Kreisch Brewery Historic Site Workday

VMS opportunity: Monument Hill/Kreische Brewery Historic Site (414 TX-92 Spur, La Grange TX 78945)
We have a workday scheduled for Friday, April 9 at 8:30 a.m.
The trail is in dire need of cleaning up a lot of dead cedar trees. Kenneth (site employee who worked a lot with us in the trail interpretive sign days) will have his chain saw cutting them down and in pieces, so we can help load them up on Gators for hauling. So far, the weather looks like it will be cooperative.
Wear protective clothing, work gloves and, of course, insect repellant. I also suggest you bring lobbers to help cut smaller pieces (and any Nandina & Ligustrum we might see!) Don’t forget your water.
