Outdoor Education Enrichment Fridays for Grades K through 4

Volunteer Opportunity: VMS Category BISD Outdoor Education

We will be having an Outdoor Education program at Brenham Elementary School from 8:00 AM to 12:30 PM on January 25, February 1 and February 8.  As we do in all of our programs that include a large amount of children at one time, we will have stations on different outdoor subjects.  Those stations will include Journaling, Bees, Butterflies, Bats, Bluebirds, Riparian Areas, and Wrap-up Journaling.

Jan. 25 will be for the 2^nd and 3^rd grade children;

Feb. 1 will be for 1^st grade and 4^th grade and

Feb. 8 for Kinders (this one will end about 10:30 AM).

We need at least 6 volunteers to help at the stations.  Leaders will be Jim Wilson, Jan Hughes, Lori Buffum, Judy Deaton and Carol Paulson.  Riparian Areas will be covered by TPWD, but they might need a helper too.  If you can give us a few hours of your time on those dates, please let me know.

Think of how many hours you can rack up right at the beginning of the year!!
